Penance & Reconciliation: The Rite of Penance & Reconciliation is also known as Confession. It is a way to return to God and the Church whenever they have failed to keep their Baptismal promises. There are four steps, 1. They must be sincerely sorry for their sins & sin no more, 2. They must confess their sins to a priest, 3. Willing to make amends, 4. They must receive absolution or forgiveness from the priest.
