Middle & High School Religious Ed Classes

Pre-Confirmation Middle School:
We will be discussing several topics that will be separated into different parts.
Part One: As our youth prepare their faith journey we will be discussing St. John Paul II's teachings on the significance of our creation as male & female & our faith.The Theology of the Body covers such topics as the bodily dimensions of the human person, the nature of human sexuality, the human need for communion and the nature of marriage. The program takes great care to treat difficult topics about human sexuality with great reverence and it respects the vital role that parents play as the first and primary educators of their children.

Part Two: Welcome to Called to Be Catholic. In this class we will discuss the teachings of scripture, traditions, the trinity, our church, sacraments, morality, serving others, ten commandments, the beatitudes , prayers, saints, Pope & church leaders, social justice. Some questions that we will be discussing: Am I willing to give myself to God? How do I give thanks & praise? Do I live a moral life? How do I serve others & my church?

Confirmation Prep 8th grade & up: Preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation
Welcome to CHOSEN: The Journey to Confirmation, a two year preparation program for the completion of baptismal grace. For the sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit.
